The forecast is calling for some very icy and possibly snowy weather tomorrow, therefore, the anticipation of having a snow day tomorrow is definitely on HIGH ALERT! If so, this will probably the only snow day that we have this year, since the rest of the week seems warmer….but with Texas weather and those Siberian winds…. Who really knows??? 🙂
As for now… here is my Sunday Scoop with the Teaching Trio!
3- I have a short training Tuesday morning, so I have to make morning plans for my class. Hopefully, the training won’t take long and I’ll be back right in time for Guided Reading and Intervention. As for the nursery and my closet, there is so much reorganizing and Spring cleaning that needs to be done. Although it still feels quite wintery out there, especially today, I know it’s a task that I need to just get done before spring and the warmer weather are officially here……I’ll do it, I’ll do it….right after I take a nap maybe… 🙂
2- Speaking of which, I am still in much need for being able to sleep in and take a nap. Since the beginning of my pregnancy, I have not been able to sleep through the night and am constantly congested at night. The toughest part of all is not being able to fall right back to sleep when I get up at night. Hopefully, the congestion will ease down soon.
1- Lunar/Chinese New Year was this past Thursday! And since it fell in the work week, it was celebrated during mass today at our Vietnamese Catholic church. Although it’s always super crowded for Lunar New Year celebration, I’m always so happy to be able to share the tradition with my sweet son. Of course, he was dressed in his traditional costume and received Lucky Money from our priest and close friends. Below are pictures of mass today.
The weather seems to be so crazy everywhere here in the States. Hope you are staying nice and warm inside! Have a great week!
I hope you get some rest this week! I can't believe Texas is getting ice! Love your Lunar New Year's pictures. The tree in the back of your picture is beautiful.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I can't believe we're getting ice either, but it happens maybe once or twice a year and then it melts away. Hope the weather is nicer where you are than here right now. 🙂
