I was so excited about our Zoom call! This was my first Zoom call with an agent ever and I had spent days before researching and watching YouTube videos on what to expect and what questions to ask.
As soon as we started talking, I felt an immediate connection with her. She was kind, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable about the industry. Then the moment arrived when she offered me representation and I was over the moon!
We then continued our conversation, and I shared my goals and vision for my stories. I also asked more questions about her experience and ways we could collaborate with one another.
After our conversation, we decided to take some time for me to review the contract and reach out to other agents who also had my manuscripts.
As soon as I was ready, I requested another Zoom meeting to officially accept the offer!
