Hello there!  It’s been a great Thanksgiving break, and I am ready to get back into the swing of things and start all the Holiday celebrations.  Today I’m kicking off with the Teaching Trio again to bring to you my Sunday Scoop! 🙂
3- Thanksgiving was really fun!  We spent a whole week with my family in California and even got to visit Lake Tahoe and San Francisco! My siblings knew we were visiting, except for my parents.  I wanted to surprise them, and it worked!  Below are some pictures of our Cali trip.  Our sweet lil’ man also got to go ice skating with daddy for the VERY FIRST TIME!  For my hubby who is a BIG hockey fan, this was definitely a moment for him.  As for our Thanksgiving meal, we actually ate turkey this year!  I know that doesn’t sound shocking at all, but for a very traditional Vietnamese family, that was a BIG deal for my family which usually opts for the usual Vietnamese cuisines for all holidays including Thanksgiving!  Gotta love my family. 🙂
I’m also so excited for Christmas, but I really need to start wrapping up my son’s Christmas presents.  As much as I tell myself, NO MORE TOYS!  He keeps getting more and more. #mamadrama  And of course, I need to put up the rest of the ornaments.  Sorry, our Christmas tree is 10 feet tall, and little me can only do so much at one time.  ðŸ™‚
2- Christmas lights and Christmas shopping are definitely on my list this week!  I can’t wait to start all the Christmas festivities!
1- My sweet brother-in-law took some really awesome Holiday pictures for my family while we were in California, and I can’t wait to use them for our Christmas card.  Below is a collage of some of the pictures.

And!!!!  Did I mention that MONDAY and TUESDAY is TPT’s Cyber Super Sale?  Use the code when you check out and get up to 28% off! Click below for the direct link!

So that’s what going on in my week.  What do you have planned?

  1. Christmas season is definitely the best! I'm so glad you stopped by, I took French all four years in high school and some in college. I love the language, the culture, and of course, the food! I have visited Paris, Nice, and even Montreal just this past summer. 🙂
